CCA advice please

So, a bit more if an update, Link won't offer any more discount, so going to pay it off anyway, saves me 25% off £900.
Spoke with Barclaycard, agreed a payment plan on both debts.
One card with Westcott has £1300 on it, they have provided CCA and won't offer a discount, so they will get the £300 per month til it's done. Lastley, still not heard off RBS about my NatWest CC CCA, account us on hold until July 4th.
Westcott had asked for a SOA, but I am sure they will get over it when I keep sending the payments.
Finally I need to cancel my Stepchange arrangement.
So, still away to go, but now down to 4 debts, all interest frozen and freed up £200 per month.
Sort of feeling as though I cheating myself by spreading out the Barclaycard over 11 months, but there is no interest and from October I will have an extra £1025 a month left in my account.0 -
Probably the last update, Nat West reckon they have got the CCA, not seen it yet, but no reason to doubt them.
So I have finished with Step-change, I rang Wescott and spoke to a lady who had some common sense, as both my debts will be cleared within less than 4 months, no need to faff around sorting budgets etc, I will just pay them by standing order, just the same at Barclaycard.
So, why is this the last update? Because
I can't see any avenues for any reductions etc, so the next update will be when I am debt free.
Good luck to all those on the debt free journey, I am nearing the end, it's been a long slog.
The highs are seeing the debts come down from £50k, to £40k, to £30k etc.
The lows include going to coinstar with lots of copper and explaining to the kids it was fun to cash all of our change in and pay for the shopping with it, truth was, we were totally skint that month, but hey, somehow we got through 0 -

Just because Nat West say they can comply with your CCA doesn't mean what they provide will be enforceable - and this is more likely given the age of your NW debt (1990s). For example MBNA provided us with what looked to be compliant documentation - even provided a copy of the original signed application, T&Cs and statements covering the entire period of the account. Howeve, we had it checked over and it was unenforceable. Almost £12k of debt - which we could have ignored, but which we chose to settle at 10% of the balance, i.e. £1.2k.
Just don't assume paperwork creditors send through is necessarily enforceable.DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Decked,
It's extremely unlikely that the NatWest agreement will be enforceable.
99% of agreements from that time period were deficient, as they did not include the prescribed terms.
As you must be aware the courts have already ruled that such agreements are unenforceable.

January 2015 and Sourcrates, thanks for the replies. I didn't explain myself very well in terms of the NatWest account, I had sent the CCA to RBS, when I chased it up, they said they have emailed the CCA that they have found back to Wescott, so Wescott are going to send it to me. I will check it and see if it has the prescribed terms, I know I have checked the others over against some info I found on here and they seemed to contain all of the parts they should contain.
Is there any organisation that I can have these reviewed by, including the Natwest one when I get it, just to make sure.
Thanks0 -

Hi January2015
What specifically made your mbna agreement unenforceable?
Just asking as Natwest sent me a signed copy of my agreement from 1997 including what looks like a (separate) copy of the original T&Cs and a mod from another forum checked it for me and stated it looked valid, so I've kept paying Natwest £1 per month, although the debt is now managed by Wescot since last year.
However you've given me a glimmer of hope it may not be valid after all!0 -
So, the CCA that RBS said they had emailed to Wescott, still hasn't turned up, which I am hoping is good news. However today I got 9 years of credit card statements sent to me through the post, no covering letter, no CCA, just statements back to 2008. I also got 2 letters off Link confirming that I have settled 2 accounts.
I am not making any effort to contact Wescott, the RBS account is on hold, so what would have been my monthly payment will be used to support the Welsh Tourist Industry via a few pubs in Wales at the beginning of August0
