If you are with a DMC, is it better to ask them to negotiate a F&F settlement figure or contact the companies direct? TIA

It's no good asking the fee-paying ones to do that as it would not be in their interest. They want you to keep paying for as long as possible as they get a cut!:grouphug: Things can only get better.0 -

If you are with the CCCS or Payplan I would give them and call and ask them what your options are if you was to be able to make a !!!!!!.
I would be careful of who or what you say though as if the creditor refuses the offer but thinks you have funds stashed away they could be funny about it and ask for you to up your payments. |You could also try giving the national debtline a call.
