Gift from parents after mortgage agreed

Hi

Just a quick question. We have just had mortgage approved and my parents have offered to pay solicitor fees. Will this cause any problems? I have heard that credit checks are done again before completion so dont want to cause any problems.

Thanks :)

as long as your not taking any new finance, it should be fine as it is from a third party. They may need to sign a gift declaration. Depends on your solicitor
