I have been invited to assessment for the above position with the NHS. It says it will involve written tests and group activities/assessment. What can I expect and plan for if anything???? Argggh 🙈:j

I've no idea what you will be asked to do, but from a parental point of view, my son has had a play therapy assistant whenever he has to have bloods taken. The PT has tried to distract him with books, puppets and bubbles. She has also had to help to hold him still (with me). If there is a wait for the bloods to be taken, she usually gets out colouring things, altohugh there are toys in the room as well.
It's a role that requires patience, eardrums made from steel, and understanding that the child may be terrified. It's also a role that requires empathy for the parent as well as the child. You shouldn't be worried by the sight of blood or needles.
I've no idea if this helps, but good luck!0
