Voluntary Class 2 Nics - Employed FT & self-employed side job

Hi guys, Dont know if this this the right section, apologies if not.

I work full time for an employer who pays through PAYE and is in the normal tax bracket.

I also run a small side business evenings/weekends which brings in <£5k pa.

I'm trying to go through self assessment to pay tax on these side earnings but now its asking if I want to pay voluntary class 2 NICs and that some benefits but me affected if I dont.

Do I need to pay this.. or is it all covered by my normal NI payments through my full time employment?

thanks.
