    That's a really good rate. And it's only available to existing clients as for a new customer remortgaging it's 1.59% - so you would be wise to stay with Nationwide.

    My current lender - YBS - don't offer any improved rates to existing (loyal?) customers, and won't negotiate at all which is a shame as their 1.79% rate can be widely beaten, but I will have to go through the couple of hour hassle of the phone interrogation. Worthwhile though.
