Getting a Mortgage as a Student

Options
I work full time and earn a reasonably good salary (over £30k). I'm thinking about studying towards a undergraduate degree while working full time (studying either through distance learning or an evening degree). I will probably get out a student tuition loan.

When it comes to applying for a mortgage (which I hope to do with my partner in the next 2 years) will we have a harder time because I'm technically a student?

You work full time and earn £30,000+ will this change if you become a student ?
I completed a 5 year part time course at university to get a qualification.
Did not even consider informing my mortgage lender.
My employer paid the course fees

If you continue being a full time employee, it doesn't matter that you are studying in your spare time.
However, if you take out a student loan, you will have to declare it as a commitment once you start repaying it and it shows up on your payslips.
