does anyone remember the name of a loan company that was based in hanley just off trinity street in the 1980 I know they are not in business now but need to know if they were taken over by another company so I can claim back ppi

Are you sure you even had PPI? It was barely in existence in 1980.0 -
You might be out of luck either the time factor or records for that time haven't been kept.0
