Hello all,
I am looking for some advice / guidance on the next steps and the likelihood of me getting a mortgage
We are looking to buy a property in the region of £150-£150k, we have 21k saved at the moment and will be looking to pay a 10% deposit with the rest to be used on fee’s and immediate spending when moving in. some of the deposit is in two HTB ISA’s which will help with the fees etc
I earn £21k PA my partner £30k, she has zero debt apart from a student loan
I however have a CC £5.5k on 0% until late 2018 with another £1.5k on another card, I expect to be able to clear the smaller CC by August, we are looking to approach London and county soon to arrange an AIP and get looking at finding the perfect house (is this how things normally work?). Will the CC figures cause us problems?
I have no adverse credit history, defaults, ccj’s, never missed a payment etc
