Psychometric test

Good morning,
I recently completed a psychometric test for a new job, unfortunately don't think I did particularly great in it. How long should I wait before following it up or should I just wait until they get in touch with me? Thanks.

Well when was it you did the test ?
What makes you think you didn't do too great ?0 -
I'd say wait at least a week, although depending on the type of job, it can take longer for them to get back to applicants.0

A week? Okay I'm being a little impatient then, I did the test on Monday evening. The logical reasoning part of the test was difficult trying to find the pattern in the shapes to pick out the right answer. I'll follow it up next week if I haven't heard anything.0

To be honest those tests are not scientifically based, so any employer who relies on them is worrisome. At very best, they're a crude indicator, so don't take your performance on them too much to heart. How you present in interview is far more important.0

Part of the test is to see how long it will take you to call or email to find out the results.
Sadly I don't want to ruin the results by telling you what the right answer is.0
