I know some of you sprout your own seeds - what do you do with them?? I sometimes get a packet of sprouted seeds in my veg box (I've got one now) and I don't like them in stirfries, it's too cold for salads, only thing i could think of was to sprinlke them on top of pancakes as soon as I put them in the pan, IYKWIM.

Hi,
I think some people put them in casseroles/bakes. Personally I would usually have them in stir-fries and salads. You can also add them to soups. I've read somewhere that people juice them.0 -
Odds they sound yucky so I'd put them in the bin :rotfl:

They can work well in sandwiches (depending on the type of sprout) eg with marmite or peanut butter.
Also, you could always have a salad accompaniment to a hot meal (eg potato cheese) or a two course meal with salad followed by whatever.0 -
I got some too, I think I am going to mix them with onion and garlic and soy sauce for a very brisk stir-fry.
I think they would work sprinkled into a soup just before serving to add a bit more nourishment.
I know DS1 (aged 7) will eat ANYTHING sprouted and if I left the box on the table he would eat the whole lot:)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
