hi, i have just seen this over on hotukdeals

if you go to amazon and buy 2 alice and wonderland and 2 the wild you get all four dvd's for £13.97 ( you need to go all the way to the check out to see the discount and it only seems to work with these dvd's). oh and you get a further discount if you are part of thier dvd rental. great for christmas presents. :j

thanks to the original poster on hukd

    Hope this helps you.

4 for the price of 1??! You obviously know something I don't!! Share the deal! :rotfl::D

Sorry should have been more explicit...I think it is stated elsewhere in this post but if you order 2 x Alice in wonderland and 2 x The wild from Amazon, you get four for the price of one.

Reason is Amazon have cross-promoted these two items in their '4 for the price of 3' and 'BOGOF Disney DVD' promotions.

So when you get to the checkout, they add both discounts and you get 4 DVD's for 13.97 (remember to choose free supersaver delivery)

Hope this clarifies for CharleneUK and anyone else not sure

They seem to have removed Alice and the Wild from the BOGOF offer

Ah well - still a good deal

  • In Morrisons today I bought Lady and The Tramp II- Scamps adventure for £5.99 and Bambi 2 disc Special Edition for £5.99, these are £19.99 and £14.98 at Amazon.com and are not part of the BOGOF so quite a good saving I thought.

However I have since realised that Morrisons had Brother Bear DVD for £5.99 and this is listed on Amazon as in the BOGOF offer so the thought occured to me that maybe it may be BOGOF at Morrisons making it £5.99 for 2???? They had other Disney DVD's too but cant remember exactly what ones were £5.99 unfortunately. The Morrisons I visited is quite a small one so maybe some of the larger stores will have a biggersselection of DVD's, I wont be able to try this £5.99 BOGOF theroy myself as the store I went to is several miles away and wont be able to get there for a while. But maybe worth a try if you are heading to one????????

yes but are they single disc editions, maybe thats why their so cheap?
usually the sp editions are 2 discs or are one disc and have lots of
    extras on them..

I ordered when I first saw the "Buy one, get three free" thread on HUKD. I thought that my neices and nephews might prefer DVDs to the cutesy sweaters I always end up buying them :o In the same order, I also had a little Thomas The Tank Engine toy for my cousin's birthday next week, so I paid for first class delivery.

    My receipt looked like this:Item(s) Subtotal:£60.13Postage & Packing:£3.75Promotion Applied: -£13.97Promotion Applied: -£27.94
    Total Before VAT:£21.97VAT:£0.98
    Grand Total:£22.95

Alice In Wonderland arrived today from Indigo Starfish, Amazon's Jersey branch via Royal Mail. On my receipt, it said it was coming via "Royal_High".

The Thomas toy was dispatched today, via Parcelforce, presumably to get around the postal strike. It should get here in time for Oliver's party - phew! ;)

No word on The Wild yet, but I noticed that on its DVD listing, it now says "6 to 10 days", so I'm guessing they're waiting for more stock
