Need help with Ciao

Hi everyone, I really should be in bed, its getting late

Anyway, I need some advice about Ciao.

I joined because going by people's sigs its quite a good money maker. Posters on the forum also said you get nearly daily surveys, although quite low paid.


I joined 3 weeks ago and haven't had one survey. Have filled in all my profile so don't know what is wrong.

Decided to investigate if writing reviews for the site gets you money but I can't find any info. Please help, my balance is firmly at 0p and I would love another site on the go that can help me make some extra money

So I'll be glad of any advice as well.

same here. I've been a members for months and months and very rarely get anythig from them.

I'm not a member any more, but have you tried asking on one of the forums set up to discuss Ciao and the other review writing sites? (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post their names, but if you ask an established writer on Ciao through their guestbook, I'm sure they'd be able to tell you what the current ones are.)

I don't know if this will help much but I'm starting to realise they are looking for certain 'types' of people to do surveys with.

A couple of sites I signed up for sent me loads until I answered a question saying a parent works in banking. Then all the surveys stopped!

And also, I get more surveys from the ones that have me down as a girl who likes everything (trains to fishing to hairdos), than on the ones I told the whole truth on (I've never been fishing!).

hmmm, i get loads of surveys from ciao. however, i answer about 20 questions and then they chuck me out with 'we have had our quota of your type of person' - blimey. its like i've told them everything already. for nowt... not that i'm bitter, but i'll never get that time back

anyhoo - i logged in the other day and had £15 in there - wahoo.
