SmartPV for Solar Panels

Had the same visit myself today. As above no specifics or literature. Is it safe to say there is no miracle device that can increase my output by 25% like they are claiming?
The only possible thing I can think of is an upgrade to a SolarEdge system, but 25% is unlikely, more like 10%, and only then if there is a little shading.
Anything other than 'mucking about' with the panels, can't work, as there aren't enough losses between the panels and the TGM to give you a 25% increase. Most inverters are around 94%+ efficient (I have a small 92% model, plus 94% and 96% models), so no room there for 25%.
If two people have had visits, but still can't work out what's going on, then it all starts to smell rather fishy ..... actually that ship sailed long ago.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Might as well try to find out what it is, so have requested contact, got this:-Thanks a bunch for filling that out. It means a lot to us, just like you do! We really appreciate you giving us a moment of your time today. Thanks for being you.

They called me back today. Keep talking about a guarantee of 25% increase. Want me to spend 30 minutes talking to someone which I have declined. Definitely sounds like they are looking at the inverter claiming that's where the savings can be made.
Have checked my inverter (Diehl 2100s) and I think it's about 94% efficient. I have no issues with shading. I'm struggling to see how they can improve output by more than few percentage points.0 -
So glad I found this thread. I too have had a doorstep caller followed by a phone call. As soon as the guy left my door I regretted giving him my number and, having had the phone call, I regret it even more. I love my solar panels (they're my contribution to the end of nuclear power!) but can't see any way that generation can increase by 25%. I expect they'll phone me back but I won't be accepting their offer.0
