Would you bother with the hassle over £6?

So i have just received my offer from HSBC. Its for a remortgage.

They give you 7 days to think about it before moving forwwrd with the legal side. I have just noticed the rate I am getting is 2.44% however the rates online are now showing 2.34% which is a difference of about £6.

Would you go back to them and ask for the new rate? Hoping it doesnt throw a spanner in the works? Is it even something I can still do now its gone to offer? I have not signed anything yet.

So i called HSBC. Yes it can be done but as its a completely different product I would have to decline the offer online, take it back to application stage, submit the application again, potentially go through underwriting whicg she said could take 1-2 weeks and then wait for another decision.

No thanks ill just pay the £6 extra a month
