Tupe contract changes

Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of a tupe. The new employer is wanting to take away 2x10 minutes breaks, take away our sick days and just have it as managers discretion and they are also wanting to change our shift patterns.
I'm just wondering if they can do this or is it something I gave to agree to?
Thanks for any help

No union involved, I assume? Surely TUPE is supposed to mean that your terms and conditions are protected.....
(Having said that, the alternative to TUPE is probably redundancy - would you actually prefer that?)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
but not necessarily for very long. So if the new employer agrees now to keep the same t&c, in six months time they can come back and say 'sorry, needs of the business, you're losing your breaks and sick pay is now at manager's discretion'. At which point the OP has a choice: accept the changes, or reject them and start job-hunting.jobbingmusician wrote: »No union involved, I assume? TUPE protects at the point of transfer,
If this is during the consultation phase the new company may have built there business proposal to take over the operation around these changes being implemented.
If the employees insist on no changes they may need to change the business case or could just pull out.0
