Thanks, free eye tests at D&A have been posted several times. Using the search facility is quite quick.
What you mean we have to search for everything ever made in case one of them may have been posted before?
This is ridiculous. I would of thought most people look in a freebie forum to see what's available right now, anything going, not what may have been available ages ago, possibly.
Thanks to the thread starter. I need this to.0 -

Have a look here:-

Where it says:-
Want to post a new Freebie?
First, check whether it has already been posted by using the SITE'S SEARCH FACILITY. Duplicate posts may be merged with earlier threads on the board to avoid too much repetition0 -

Most high street opticians offer free eye tests, the only difference is that D&A are the most overpriced!

Do they give you your subscription to take away and use elsewhere?
I'd rather not be committed to buy D&A specs if possible, based on bad experience of friends.0 -
nectar emailed me a voucher for the free eye test, along with 2000 points voucher if you buy glasses, and a couple hundred for having the test i believe. If anyone want me to email it to them let me know.£2 Savers club £0/£150

No, I]see link I posted above for complaints regarding this matter[/I
Generally, they'll force you to buy glasses (which are VERY overpriced compared to other opticians), or attempt to charge you for the eye test afterwards (most are franchises so adopt the 'we haven't heard about this offer' approach.)
It'll be easier & a lot cheaper to pay for the eye test at an optician you trust. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
