Hi I wonder if anyone can help me, I run a saturday club can I claim back all hire fees from the church hall for tax relief and the same for paying staff who work for me?
One other thing Ive bought a card reeder (Izettle) they will charge me a fee every time I use it, can I claim this fee as tax relief?
If anyone can help would really appreciate it,

    are you running a business to make a profit or is this a not for profit social activity?

    if you are really paying staff how come you have got this far without sorting out such basics with an accountant?

    Employing staff puts you into a much more complex position regarding accounting records, compliance with the rules and HMRC than "simply" being a sole trader. Have you registered as an employer? Do you pay the staff enough that you must operate PAYE?

    I have an accountant hes just away at the moment I just wanted a few questions answered as cant see anywhere online, I thought it would be stragiht forward maybe I was wrong. Im currently running the club on my own on a morning.

    Can anyone help?
