Dropped Kerb

Hi there
just wondering if anyone has ever had to get the kerb in front of their house dropped in order to build a driveway.

And can provide me with a rough cost of how much it cost to both drop kerb and build a driveway.

It all depends on how much your council's preferred contra for charges.

My mistake, slightly different in NI although the idea may be the same. Do TransportNI insisting preferred companies for this work?

No, you pay a bond but you have to organise the work yourself. I'm about to do one in a month or two. The budget depends on finish, make-up, size etc but £1-2k for one car space I should think. You need consent from Transport NI and in some cases planning permission if it's a classified road but Planning aren't that interested and will probably tell you to talk to Transport NI as they take guidance from them anyway. As long as you get TNI consent that should suffice.

I just need 1or 2 kerbs dropped , is that able to be done via the same type of application ?
Any one any idea of price for some thing like that ?
