Hi all apart from constantly negotiating the best deals on bills could
I have some inspiration and suggestions for making £30.00 a day
I am in full time employment and living within my means but would like a bit more each month
I am aware of matched Betting and mystery shopping but would like any reccomendations to suit my time as I work 10 hours per day on average and get home and turn into a husband and father
I appreciate your advice and please be kind if this is a question asked many times

If you are already working ten hours a day, and living within your means, then if i were you I would ask myself which I valued more: an extra £30 a day which, while nice, is not essential; or time spent with my family which you will never be able to repeat.0

In your position I would be looking at trying to increase the hourly rate for the work I am already doing. Do you have any possibility of getting a promotion or a pay rise at work, or training for a better-paid job? Once you get up to higher levels, it will keep on paying throughout your working life.
I don't see how else you can realistically earn £30 a day extra, unless you want to make a big life change like renting out a spare room. Most of the things discussed on sites like this involve a lot of time for relatively small reward. If you could reliably earn thirty quid for an hour's easy work from home at a time to suit you, which I assume would be more or less what you need in order to fit with your life, there wouldn't be anybody claiming the dole or bothering with minimum wage jobs.0 -
I am seriously into making money on the side, but at present I can only generate £16.67 per day (if I average it out). So I think it's very unlikely to be achievable to make £30 per day reliably.
Out of interest, what do you want the extra money for? I am big into lifestyle simplification. You might find it is the answer to needing less in life and spending more time with your family (see my blog for more info, link in profile). Sell everything you own that you don't need. Don't buy what you don't need. Buy less overall. Value experiences over stuff. HTHMinimalist

Hi Lloyds Dad
I'd like to direct you to our thread, Make £10 a Day..... where you'll be very welcome:beer:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5639549
Several members make well over that and even many of us whose opportunities are limited manage to hit our target most months. As you'll see from my sig I made £1240 extra during Jan-April. This is less than usual as for a lot of that time I was without internet connection which scuppered a lot of home money-making activities:mad:.
Obviously, £10 a day is considerably less than you are hoping for but an extra £300+ each month for easily undertaken little tasks is not to be sneezed at;). You might find some good ideas there that you can adapt and upscale.
Good Luck:beer:0 -
Hi all thank you so much for your advice the £30 a day was a target which I thought was a bit optimistic but always worth asking in case there was a way of achieving this
The target of £900 a month is for no reason apart from say in 12 months would go to a nice car or overpaying the mortgage etc
Anyway thank you all again for your help0 -
I work like 12-13hr and then i get the feeling is all the money even worth it if i cannot spend time with my loved ones. The day starts with work and ends with it. Lost time will never be back and might be great regret in the future. Appreciate your thought.
I think it depends on where you are in your life. If I'd known how to make money when I was 18 then I'd have worked 12 hour days, then by the time I was 30 I could have retired.
Most people do it the wrong way round & waste their time enjoying their youth & then suffering through adult hood.0 -
