Replacing a double glazed window

My bedroom window has 2 panes and both of them has gone misty.
I got a £264 quote to replace the 2 panes from a company called Cloudy2Clear.
Does that sound reasonable ?
The measurements are:
104X107 & 104X42 (roughly - I measured the inside of the panes)
I live in Northamptonshire.
Thank you.

    Double glazed, UPVC surrounds, upstairs.
    Glass type: clear.
The smaller pane is the one with the handle which can be opened.
    Thank you.

Get some more quotes - and also get quotes for repairing (rather than replacing), unless you are sure you want replacments.

Google for 'double glazing window replacements' + your nearest big town.

£264 sounds about right to me as its not just replacing the glass, it should be replacing the whole upvc unit.

As the post above me has said, look for local companies and get a few quotes.

  • Lots of window companies do it, mine just cost me £50 , £264 is expensive
