Tax Exempt Salary

I work out of the UK more than 7 months of the year, this makes me tax exempt.
Getting a mortgage is very difficult. Essentially my take home pay is the same as most peoples net. Previously I obtained a mortgage with Barclays, they took the salary I receive as a net value and then work out how much tax I would have paid to achieve that net pay and essentially calculate my gross salary. I am moving house and Barclays have now changed their rules. Does anyone else know a company which specialises in providing mortgages for people in a similar situation? Thanks.

An old thread I know but for anyone else searching this topic: as a seafarer and a homeowner I was told by my mortgage advisors that nowadays banks will not consider your personal circumadrances regarding tax in situations like Seafarer!!!8217;s Earning Deduction. They!!!8217;re well aware that if you need one month sick off work you will not be getting your tax benefits and thus will be like everyone else who pays tax.

A mortgage advisor should help you out however, with your situation.
