You don't need to deal with this all in one go. Hand in 4 weeks notice and ask how much accrued holidays you have to take, then see what your employer comes back with. As a last resort go back to your doctor in 2 weeks time and get another sick note.

After nine years, why now? Are you absolutely positive this is the best thing to do? Yes, it's an option. But what are the others?

Go and see your doctor who will almost certainly sign you off for longer. Then take some advice and time to decide on the best way forward.

The normal advice in these situations is to stay off sick and let the firm make the moves.

If you simply resign, unless on clear medical advice, you are unlikely to be able to claim JSA for some time. Are you financially able to be without any income or are you swapping one problem for another?

Yes definitely i can no longer keep stressing it's driving me insane even people chewing too loudly next to me makes me wanna

I'm due in before the doctors have even opened tomorrow so that means i'd have to call in sick twice in one week plus on top of last months sick note.

Can i not just offer two weeks and hope they accept? Or take in this Sick note no notice and then get my doctor to give an updated one?

While you are employed your holidays are accruing. Let the employers decide in the future and let them do the worrying
