spouse not paying mortgage

Hi, my spouse left the family home last year and refuses to pay a share of our joint mortgage. I cannot remortgage on my own but I can afford to keep paying and intend to sell in a few years time. How do i work out the split of money after the sale?

The split will be part of the divorce settlement you'll need to negotiate between yourselves. There's no specific formula. . Note that you can't sell without their agreement and they could potentially force you to sell (via an expensive court case) not on your timetable.

    Hello

Cannot offer you any advise as I am in a similar situation, just wanted to say you are not alone and hope you get things resolved.
I can afford to pay my mortgage as well but wont not get a new mortgage in my own name, difficult situation to be in.
    Best of luck x
