Mortgage Valuation Report - Nationwide

Hi all. Is it normal for some lenders not to provide a mortgage valuation report for new builds? Our mortgage is with Nationwide and has been approved. We are now waiting for Authority to Exchange from the Help to Buy Agent for our equity loan - they've asked for the valuation report but our solicitor, after speaking with our broker, has explained that we don't have one. Has anyone come across this before? I'm now worried that exchange will be delayed if the HTB Agent insists on a valuation report. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Nationwide doesn't issue a copy of the valuation normally.

However, as it's a requirement for HTB they will fax or email a copy of the report to your solicitor if your broker requests it.

Tell broker to go via Intermediary Support and not the Service Centre to make the request.
