  • not a very good money saver - spent almost £3 for just 6 bars - not all for myself I might add, the whole family enjoyed reminiscing - but is it just me or are they thinner than they were before?
    If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.

    I think they're pretty much the same size and shape as when they stopped making them, but if you go back to when they first came out then you are correct - they did use to be less flat.

    If you look at the Cadbury website, they don't mention the change of shape in the "Wispa history" section, although they do mention under the heading of "did you know" that "the first Wispas were deemed too big for a lady to fit in her mouth and so they had to be scaled down!" - they obviously weren't referring to any "ladies" I know !!!!!!:p :rotfl:

    Saw Wispa bars in Little Chef in Garstang today. Think they were 49p. HTH

  • The local BP has them for 55p each and i also spotted them in Blockbusters (not sure how much they are retailing for)

    I purchased four all for myself!

    I got 2 for my Dad at my local Spar on Saturday they were priced 49p each but since Dad was diagnosed a diabetic in March he is keeping one as a treat and gave the other to my Mum, aww isn't he sweet.

    On the subject of nostalgia! Anyone know what ever happened to 'Trio' biscuits????

    Used to love those and would love to see a return!!! You must remember the cartoon screaming girl singing (shouting) trio!
