I half remember, several years ago, Gordon Ramsay telling a story about After Eights
If memory serves me right he had just started on his career and as a junior he was responsible to, I'll call him the sweet Chef, for all the prep work, which meant he worked a lot during the night
One night he was told to prep a certain sweet. He didn't know what to put in the inside so he asked a fellow worker, he told him After Eights
Now Ramsay thought to himself that his colleague was taking a hand out of him. A posh restaurant doesn't use anything as common as an After Eight for an expensive sweet. Whatever the sweet was he left the After Eight out. The sweet Chef was not pleased so Ramsay found himself spending the day remaking the sweet this time with the After Eight
Forgive me for I only remember half the story, but it does go to indicate the versatility of an After Eight

To prevent the strong 'cocoa' taste, try using half cocoa and half drinking chocolate powder. NOT the drinking chocolate which contains the dried milk powder.0
