    Good luck, it's daunting going through everything, sorry I couldn't offer more advice but hope it goes well!

    He's had a look at our circumstances and has said he thinks we have a strong case for a mortgage. He is completely independent and had access to allsorts of companies, even the ones off the high street.

    All documents are in his hands. Next step an AIP. Hopeful at last :)

    That's great news, you must be so relieved. Have you seen a particular house/development you have your eye on? What did he say about the car finance, will you be leaving it as is?

    Well I can't bloody believe it. Advisor has just rang and got us an AIP with Halifax. I know it's not set in stone yet. But a massive step in the right direction
