in Cutting tax
When submitting my Co tax form it came up with this:
Status: Rejected
Error code: 3001
Description: The submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific business logic in the Body tag.
Any ideas what this means?
It also displays:
Your Company Tax Return has been sent to HMRC but we're waiting for confirmation that it has been received. Check back in 48 hours - any issues with filings are usually fixed in this time.
If your return is still processing or has failed after 48 hours, contact HMRC and quote error 3001.

What period/year end are you trying to file for?0

Pennywise, thanks. Year-end was 31 July '16 and submission was 28 April, so pretty close to the wire and that may be the issue. Dormant company accounts, though, so it is essentially all zeros and no tax due. It all looks ok and no errors were flagged up for any of the pages.0

Just to wrap up this one...
I spoke to HMRC today. The problem seems to be that when I first pressed "submit", and got an error message saying that there was a network error, I believed that and resubmitted. However, eight minutes after my initial error message, the submission went through and was accepted. So when I submitted for a second time, I got the error code which referred to a duplicate submission. Of course at no time was I given an acceptance message for my first submission, so from my perspective it looked like it hadn't gone through.
Main thing is it got there on time, so I'm happy!0
