Sorry to ask - I know the site has been mentioned many times, but I can never get the search function to return the results I need (luddite) and I have gone back 9 pages of threads and can't find it.
There is a site that will tell you (I think) how much you can expect to receive net from a gross salary.
I am thinking of asking if I can go part time at work, but I'd like to have a good idea of how much less I would be paid.
My friend has just halved her hours and tells me that because she now pays much less tax, although she's doing half the hours, she's getting more than half the pay.
