Hello All I apologise if this is in the wrong place, but it seems like the most appropriate place for the thread. I digress... Following two bereavements in four days, I have the job of organising one of the wakes to help take the pressure off. It will be in our home and is a mid afternoon affair. I am planning to cater…

All the wakes I've been to the last few years have sandwiches, tray bakes and biscuits.

And soup

Tea and coffee

Soup is traditional here but that's really only ok if there's room to sit everyone. The larger wakes it's just the the sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, tea/coffee. Perfectly acceptable
