Was in tesco this evening and the new Tesco Direct catalogue is out - remembering something from this forum last year I picked it up and got the girl at the till to scan it - hey presto....£5 of £20 spend from the catalogue coupon appeared from the till

what do you do if the checkout person won't scan it because "it's free"??? the catalogues were piled up after the checkouts so i got a strange look asking her to scan it
