kids school shirt .. help

Options
Hi Guys
I just noticed the other day how grubby the boys school shirts were .. I normally wash on 40 but I think they need something else .. with 2 teenagers they go through loads so I thought I would be better trying to rescue them than buy new, the collars are the worst bit ... any suggestions

  • If they are cotton then a 60 wash won't harm them.

My chefs whites were always white, never grey. Always washed seperate on a 60 wash with a spoonful of washing soda added. When I say seperate, I'd put a towel or undies in to make up a load, but always wash whites away from darks

    Soak overnight in biotex
Wash with extra rinsing in usual detergent
    Dry in the sun

    Maybe once a month

I think they are passed the point of me washing them .. nearly 15 now so I sort of have to trust them .. although I have been known to send them back in the shower lol

  • I always do whites separately and on a 90 wash. Never have grey whites.
I don't use any fancy powders or stain removers (waste of money)
