Weird. Dying to know what's to the right of it that they're trying to hide! Doesn't look like it's on streetview yet.
Worry no more about what's next door. It is an identical house, also for sale. It has been up for sale since last summer and is priced £20,000 higher. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-60730652.html
Intriguingly, although they are identical, next door 'would suit a family buyer being close to the local park...0 -

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65666909.html Here is another one. Popular development isn't it.
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/Greenfield-11342.html There are a lot of this style of house and none of them have sold.0 -
If you tick the 'include sstc' option the number of properties goes up from 42 to 71 so things in the area generally are selling, nothing on that road though. It all seems very overpriced to me.

Using the number of properties showing as SSTC on Rightmove is a a very poor indicator of how active a market is in my opinion... the last property I sold was still showing up on Rightmove as SSTC 5 MONTHS after the sale had been completed, obviously just an estate agent ploy to make it look like lots of properties are selling and you need to dive in now and buy before it's too late.0 -
Oldham isn't just a northern milltown, it's a large metropolitan borough with a large rural area, Greenfield, Uppermill, Delph, Saddleworth are all very nice areas.
Oldham was named the most deprived town in England last year - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-358424880 -

Saddleworth though is very leafy and affluent. It is historically part of Yorkshire and only came under the administration of Oldham council in the 70s.
