Remortgage??

My sister wants a new kitchen ( approx £12k fitted).
Will it be wiser or more economical to remortgage or wait till she finishes paying her car loan ( Feb 2018) and just get a new loan then.
Here are her current mortgage details.
Owes £27,565
Remaining term 3 years 11 months but on a fixed rate 2.95% till March 2019 (early repayment charge £810).
Paying £578.60 per month.
House is valued at £245000.
Sister would ideally like the kitchen now and not wait till next year and is not concerned about extending her mortgage lengthwise.
Cheers.

Try a broker if she wants to lend more, will mean paying ERC. Otherwise can go direct to lenders to see if they will lend to her.

But seeing as it is a small amount, lenders prefer large amounts for profitability.
