    A good accountant is well worth the cost. Doing your accounts and fulfilling the legal requirements is one thing, knowing exactly how best to structure the business and what you can claim for is something else.

    It does seem that 2k is very high. Mine also costs about 700 (varies depending on the amount of work they need to do) and includes company tax returns, companies house filings and directors personal tax return. I would say that every year i have used them they have saved me more than their bill in money i would of just handed over to HMRC that i dont need to.
