Hi, just looking for some advice. We have AIP through L & C for flat we have seen £89000 we have 5% deposit. We have Loan £160 per month. 2 x credit cards. Husbands credit limit is 3200 and currently has £2500!on it (0%) only used it for balance transfer. I have one with 0 balance but £7000 credit limit (this is with my bank &!hadvit for years). Question is, do I reduce credit limit on my card before we tell L & C to go for full mortgage app?
Not sure what to do?
Thanks

It is not likely to have any effect on your application to be honest.0

doesn't matter tbh, it is outstanding debt and credit card balances that make the biggest difference"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Thanks for your replies. I will leave it then. husbands credit card has limit of £3750 (just checked) and balance is £2560. I'm hoping that won't be a problem as far as using quite a lot of the credit available. Also just been on credit club and checked report. I can't see any searches for mortgage (only have AIP from L & C but don't know who that's with? Wouldn't an AIP show up on file?
Thanks again.0 -
What the lender will see is the promotional rate and whether the debt has simply been switched round between accounts, i.e. never significantly repaid.0

Not switch around between any other accounts just have that. Other than my cc witch balance is 0
Would there be any point in paying off £200 now? Or will it not make a difference?.0
