Santander unreasonable requests - advice required

I am afraid I have to agree with the above, I feel that what they are asking for is perfectly reasonable. To be honest in my experience I have seen people asked for a fair amount more. I also wouldn't expect you to get any ERCs back again. They aren't forcing you to move/leave, that is your choice.
Fingers crossed your payroll will be able to help you out next week.0 -

They have also written confirmation of my employment on headed paper from my manager which they insisted was addressed to myself! Struggling to see why they cannot join the dots it's not difficult.
Because people commit fraud. If there's uncertainty or doubt then the lender will become increasingly tougher. They don't know you from Adam. The underwriters need to assess in line with their internal risk policy whether they are prepared to lend you a six figure sum. The amount of money available is finite. They've plenty of potentially better applicants to do business with.0 -

Not entirely true, we currently have 2 Santander mortgages (the one we are trying to port and BTL) and not to mention banking with them.
However, they have their own requirements and will be taking the advice on about speaking with my employer to see if they can generate another letter or adapting the contract to meet those.0 -
Update
Quick response from my complaint they are accepting the contract with only a question about my pension payments. They accepted that although not on headed paper they have confirmation on headed paper from my manager of employment
I also now have a pay slip which is being uploaded by our broker. They are also monitoring and fast tracking so fingers crossed we may have an offer.0
