Took my friends to the start of their walk after leaving their car at the end of the walk. Then drove into town for a little bit of shopping and forgot the very thing I'd gone in for. Dropped off a packet to another friend, did a small washing load, hung it out and now brought it in again.

The morning was glorious though the cold wind is starting to creep in now ready for the bad weather tomorrow.

I'm going to read a book now, completely bushed after the busy week last week. My head still has a full quantity of 'get up and go' in it, my legs aren't so keen!

Elona many thanks :A- copied'n'pasted, and as soon as I'm well enough, I shall be giving that a go. (Nasty lupus flare at present, complete with big red butterfly across my face - lovely!!)

Ronnie went home yesterday; I should really try and throw the Dys0n round today, but I think it might have to wait til tomorrow. We don't have another guest til 19th May in any case, so it's not too desperately urgent.

I'd also hoped to defrost the freezer today, but that too will have to wait I think; it's foolish to try and carry on regardless when I feel this rough.

Easy dins tonight - our Sunday usual, veggie toad-in-the-hole. ;)
And there's still some carrot'n'orange cake left, which will do for dessert. :o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hi, what a great thread". It's not a bad day here in Northern Ireland. I went to church this am, then had a lovely walk - came home and had dinner with the family. Which as always was good. Just relaxing now on the sofa before heading back out to church. I have steak pieces and onions in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow night. Trying to keep a step ahead :j

Wonderful sunny day here in Cheshire and Lyme Park was beautiful, off to the big city (Manchester) tomorrow for the day but we are going to park'n'ride it and hopefully get to the Lowry

    Hi Wanttobeasaver :hello:
    Good evening everyone.
Just a quick one from me as I am sooo tired. DD came and took our guest home this afternoon and Dad left about 7pm. I am having trouble with my computer tonight as it's getting very hot, I hope it's not on its way out :(.
Good vibrations to all and normal service should be resumed tomorrow, I hope. :rotfl:

Welcome Wantobeasaver, always good to be a step ahead.

DD and I cycled about 15 miles today, gosh I am so unfit! Going to Glasgow along the canal wasn't too bad but we then crossed the city and came back along the Clyde and it was really windy and oh so cold.

Anyway, I may not be able to walk tomorrow but I'm glad I went.
