Can i help cousins mortgage problem?

Good Morning,

First post and looking for any advice and guidance

My cousin is a single mum and both she and teenage daughter have lived in their home for 10+ years. She hasn't worked for several years due to MS and has last month undergone cancer surgery, which she is still being treated. Her home is worth 90k and current mortgage for 57k

By bad luck at this time, her ex partner has legal backing to have his name removed from this mortgage. Not so much pushing sale of house, just name off mortgage. She's unable to get mortgage in own right

Is there anything I can do to help? I have decent paid job (50k) but no savings for deposit or help her pay off mortgage. I have own mortgage, family and usual commitments, but equally don't want to see cousin effectively become homeless

Is there scope to use difference in value to outstanding loan as deposit...or any other suggestions to what I might be able to do?

Thanks in advance

She's not going to "effectively become homeless" unless partner forces her to sell - and even if he wanted to go to the cost/bother of trying that, it's doubtful a court would agree in the circumstances. He'll just need to wait.

The court has agreed, and his names to come off the mortgage. It's also happening now, and he's only to wait the few weeks respite granted given medical treatment.

Anyways, seeing as she can't get own mortgage, the reason I mention effectively homeless is that as she won't have this option to remortgage on her own merits, and the sale of home is therfore the only likely result, what else is she going to be?

Wondering if I could help in any way

    Cheers
