Remortgage on benefits??

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if I can remortgage whilst living on benefits? I know it sounds bad but I was thinking I cant get a credit card (already done the test on this site to see if I am eligible for one) but my credit rating is classed as good, although it does say I should get a credit card to make my credit score better??!!. I am fully debt free except for my mortgage and an overdraft, which is what I want the 'remortgage' for so I can get rid of that as well. Any suggestions would be great. I look forward to hearing from anyone about this issue.

You are likely to be limited to a customer retention product from your existing lender to better your current rate.
You seem to be looking to remortgage to a new lender to borrow more, which appears unlikely if you have no earned income.I am a mortgage broker. Why would you add an overdraft to an ongoing debt like a mortgage? How much is the overdraft?"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

hit the debt free wannabee forums to help with your debt issues. You need to cut back more especially on benefits and with a mortgage"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
