Mortgage application worries- aldermore

Hi all

Just after some advice,
Application put in with aldermore on 7th April, all info required sent.
Phone call from MA last Thursday to say that all looks good and apparently it will go to offer very quickly. Valuation instructed and another document needed so that was sent the same day.
Valuation comoleted on Wednesday this week, email today from MA saying Aldermore are asking why my partner gets paid weekly but has a mon that payslip...It's all very complicated and there is no reason for it, he basically gets a set amount each week and then a lump sum each month.

Should I worry that this will affect the application?

Thanks in advance

Nobody can say for sure, but Aldermore are normally ok if it stacks up.
I have been to the Aldermore offices a few times and met a lot of the people involved with getting your offer issued and they are in the main normal decent people.

  • Thanks ACG.

When you add each weekly payment and his monthly lump sum it is exactly the amount on the monthly payslip.
I was hoping to hear about an offer today not more information haha typical!
    Hoping it's just for clarification

    Hi there,

I'm new to this forum but wondering if ACG could help me?

We accepted an offer last week on our house. I have some revolving credit late payments mainly from when I was on mat leave a year ago so prior to offer and speaking to broker we were placed with Aldermore. AIP agreed for max loan of £185000 and we are looking at buying for max £240,000. Husband credit file fine but we will be paying his loan of £12,000 off with equity so putting down a deposit of £60,000 rather than the £70,000.

My concern is bank statements- my husband has a returned direct debit in March . It was a new direct debit instruction and I transferred the cash over from my account too late as we normally have them coming out on the 1st of the month and this was the 24th.
We are yet to find somewhere and if it creeps into June before full app goes in I may not have to provide March bank statements. If we do do you think they will decline? We are both permanent employed.

Obviously very concerned as to whether to pull out already

    Regards

Aldermore do not always need bank statments.
But it will come down to underwriters discretion, I do no think it falls outside of criteria.
