How long for funds transfer from Nationwide

Does anyone know what time mortgage funds would drop into my bank account if requested from the Nationwide on Tuesday afternoon about 5.20pm

They quoted 3-5 working days, but in these days of faster transfers it seems a bit long.

The fact they aren't here yet at lunchtime Friday, is there any chance they would appear before Monday or have I missed the boat this week?

    Your bank account?

    What exactly is this transaction?

Additional borrowing on the mortgage, so it is transferred directly to the account the direct debits come from for the mortgage.

Was requested 5pm on Tuesday, if BACS I would have expected today?

    Ah, I see.

Sorry, no idea. Not something a broker gets involved with.
