What kind of survey?

Hi Everyone

Going to view property for 2nd time tomorrow. If all goes well (few questions we want to about what is / isn't included in service charges for flat. Services charges are £1300 per year. It's two building with 27 flats. Roof has just been done & so has lift. The flat we are looking at is at the top so nobody above us. The thing we are not sure about is what kind of survey we should get. We tried to buy ground floor property last year, this was in convertible house so we went for the full homebuyers one I think. Do we need this one for this flat?? Also this flat has two skylights, one in lounge & one in kitchen so need to make sure all ok with that. We will pay for whichever one we need but don't want to be spending money if we don't need to.

This of course all depends on buyer accepting our offer 😬

Forgot to add. Its a purpose build block of flats and has 999 year lease from 1981. We also spoke to someone who has a flat there and he said that when the roof & lift were done no extra money need it came out of service charge.
