Durham’s cafe culture has become ever more interesting in recent years, with a whole host of coffee shops and cafes to pick from on a Sunday morning. It’s a movement that hasn’t gone unnoticed by local artist Jessica Halmshaw, who has captured the trend in her work called ‘Cafe Culture’. The giclee print captures the city’s vibrant cafe culture in cool, neutral tones, and is created using a process that means the ink won’t fade for up to 100 years. At 16x20 inches including mount, it’s the sort of thing that would sit well on anyone’s wall – just as well, as we’ve got a signed copy of this limited edition giclee print, worth £55, to give away to one lucky Living North reader.
