Specifically for me; cat smell!
I love my cats, but I hate that my house now smells of cat.....
They have an enclosed litter tray with charcole filter, and don't wee or mess inside at all, but when I walk through the front door, all I can smell is cat, and it's driving me to distraction...
Thought about putting this in petcare, but though you OSers would have some more practical advice...
TIA!

Not sure what you mean smelling of cat if they dont use the tray. Is it the litter you are smelling? - I have 2 inside/outside cats and they dont smell and only occasionally use the tray - I then clean it out with bleach and no problems.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

I take it that the cats, if boys, have been neutered.
Have you been round the house on hands and knees and sniffed along all the skirting boards and in the corners, just in case they have a little place to wee?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
They're both girls, and they're just indoor cats (the biggest got run over a few months ago, so we're a little wary).....
The eldest has been fixed, but the youngest isn't old enough yet....
I don't even know what the smell is, it just smells like 'cat house' iyswim....
Am getting the steam cleaner out today, and doing all the skirting boards etc....so hopefully that will go some way to getting rif of the smell....Is it payday yet?

The girl not neutered should not smell its just the boys who smell bad before neutering- maybe try new litter as sometimes the wet litter smells - It should not so maybe they have been somewhere else - good luck with the steamer.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

is the cats you can smell or the cat pee? we had cats for years when i was younger but they got let out during the day- if they came home wet they were a bit whiffy- maybe it's because they're in the house constnatly that they're making it smell, can you build a run for them in the garden maybe?0
