    Yes you can, it counts as it's in writing. I did it that way back when I started this thread. I was glad I handed my notice in and left that job. I was admin for children's social services and the management there just took absolute liberties with staff workloads. So glad I got out of there. It took me 3 months to fully recover but I found a job before I'd left and started it 2 weeks after my last day. Don't let work make you unwell.
