Hi All
I used to make a salad that had sweet corn and red kidney beans in it from a recipe on the back of a bottle of "Sarsons for Salad"
They no longer make this product and I have emailed them several times for help with suggestions for an alternative and have not had any replies. I was wondering if apple cider vinegar would be similar. Anyone know?

I use white wine vinegar in all of my salad dressings.

Pretty much any vinegar, with the exception of malt vinegar (too heavy), should be fine - buy a couple of small bottles and experiment to see which you prefer. Tesco does wine vinegars (red and white) for about 80p a bottle.0

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Old Style’ board, where it is better suited.

Apple cider vinegar is awesome stuff. Good for your health and perfect with salads.0

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I will just have to experiment. Just wondered if anyone could remember what Sarsons for salad actually tasted like!:rotfl:
Also thanks to Nile for moving the thread here. I wasn't really sure where to post it. :T0
