moozies weekly spending challange w/c 30/09/07

Hi all i have made a few changes to the challenge... the challenge will still be run sunday~friday however i will now start this thread on a saturday which is our 'free day'. There are many reasons for this but the main one being that i work every other weekend and its easier for me to get this running on a saturday than a sunday. so here we go....
Good afternoon lovely DFWs

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Moozie x

welcome all... I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... everyone welcome... please dont worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else.

Now i missed last weeks thread so we have no targets for this week just gone so we are starting a fresh, please post this weeks targets below :D please remember anyone is welcome

Hi PaP - missed you yesterday.

Good idea to start the 'Challenge' thread on a Saturday - gives us time to budget properly. :o

I'm going to aim for a £25.00 spend this week, as my wife is away for the week, so just me and my son (and youngest daughter for the weekend) to cater for - the freezer's well full - my wife has made sure we won't die of hunger. :j :j

So put me down for the £25.00 please, PaP. :T :T

  • Hi Pap :) tough call this week as I'm not sure what I'm even supposed to be doing  and I haven't budgeted for two weeks so don't want to opt out... ok, put me down for a big £100 - just remembered I have a hair appointment - I might cancel it, not sure, but it's not cheap if I do go :o I'll make sure I have a couple of NSDs though, including today - typical to have one when it doesn't count!

  • Well I am hoping for a cheap week, I need food shopping, but that is budgetted for.
I will put in £10 this week and see how I do, I'm on mornings at work so I'm usually too tired afterwards for any spending.
