County Court Claim from civil enforcement ltd-Easton Street High Wycombe

Hi,
Hoping for some advice here.
I have recently received a county court claim form from the charming civil enforcement LTD for a parking charge from last May.
I had parked in an office's car park whilst going for a meal, there was signs advising permit holders only, however I assumed at the time I parked (18.30) in an empty car park there wouldn't be a problem. There was no notice of ANPR cameras or where I could pay to park there.
A few weeks later I received a letter from civil enforcement requesting money from me. After researching on the internet the general advice was to ignore the following letters as the company have no legal ground to enforce these tickets.
Following this I continued to receive letters with threats of bailiffs and solicitors, I continued to ignore these.
It went silent for a while and until last week when I received the claim form.
I am looking for advice from someone who has gone through a similar experience and/or who is trained in this manner as I am not happy paying such a large sum for an unnecessary ticket.
I look forward to your responses
Many Thanks
Andrew

there are literally DOZENS of threads on here about similar court case claims
post#2 of the NEWBIES sticky thread should also be read and followed , and any posts by BARGEPOLE too
use the forum search box and suitable search words to find any cases over the last 12 months (nothing older) and follow the same advice and read their posts and defences and witness statements etc
ie:- its all here if you look, but the chances of somebody who has been through it already reading your thread is slim , plus every case is different, no two are alike , because its likely that its different judges as well
also, CEL tend to discontinue when faced with forum assisted defences , so its even less likely that anyone has been through the whole process from start to finish
nobody is "trained in this manner" for these private parking charges , its a topic where there is little or no training on either side, for anybody , so people with experience = yes , trained = no0 -
Coupon-Mad's neck of the woods, I'm guessing she'll know this car park.
I wouldn't be expecting any comments from her tonight though... Pretty sure i saw her on sky sports earlier leading the pitch invasion at Brighton.0
